At Augustine School, students are outside as much as possible. From outdoor classrooms to daily recess, weekly House games to tending our school garden, we know that our students thrive when they are given ample time to enjoy God’s creation and we structure our days accordingly.

Psalm 89:11 declares, “The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all it contains, You have established them.” We believe incorporating the natural world into the daily rhythm of education at Augustine enhances our students’ learning opportunities, inspires curiosity, and promotes overall wellbeing.

It is our hope that days spent learning outdoors will develop a lifelong appreciation for the good, true, and beautiful in the world that God has made.
