The Augustine School art program nurtures a love and admiration for God, the Ultimate Artist. All students are invited to discover their innate creative capacity as they are made in God's image and invited to participate in His creation work. An understanding and appreciation for art is encouraged at every grade level as students study master artists and learn to express their own creativity through various artistic media. A class may lean heavily towards process-art inviting students to appreciate the experience of creating over the final result, while another may be more precise and measured as students learn to apply theories of color or perspective. Student artwork is showcased throughout the year in the school hallways and displayed for all to see at our annual Fine Arts Night.
