Our unique educational model is built on two foundational elements: a Classical approach to education and a Christian foundation of learning. Classical Christian education cultivates virtue and wisdom by nourishing the soul on truth, goodness, and beauty using the classical liberal arts within the context of a distinctly Christian worldview. This teaching method invites students to love that which is worth loving as they learn and grow. In short, education becomes about what we are trained to love, not just what we are taught to know.
Forming Students with an Education that Lasts a Lifetime
A Time-Tested Curriculum
A Classical Christian curriculum is keenly aware of a child’s developmental stages in order to maximize effective learning. Classical educators work with these God-given inclinations to inspire a love of learning at every age. Through the Trivium, the learning arts of grammar, logic, and rhetoric, students gain vital tools to become lifelong learners, strong critical thinkers, and capable conversationalists who are motivated to seek and uphold truth. We invite you to read more about our curriculum here and explore below how these methods play out in the classroom.

“Education is not a subject, and it does not deal in subjects. It is instead the transfer of a way of life.”
— G. K. Chesterton
Discover the Classical Difference
An Augustine School education looks different because it is! We approach education with the end in mind - shaping wise and virtuous persons who love God and are equipped to serve their community wherever they may go and whatever they may do. Ultimately, the goal of an education that is truly Christian is that students come to know and love God, who is the author of all knowledge. Since Christ is our wisdom, the purpose of everything is ultimately found in reference to him (1 Corinthians 1:22-25). As Augustine of Hippo, our school's namesake, said: "Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee.”
